The Ombudswoman cooperates with these organisations as part of her mandate as the central body for combating discrimination in the Republic of Croatia.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"EN-US\">The meeting was attended by representatives of the Centre for Civic Initiatives Pore\u010d, the Centre for Peace, Nonviolence and Human Rights Osijek, the Centre for Peace Studies, the Legal Information Centre Slavonski Brod, Pariter, the Civil Rights Project Sisak, and the Serb National Council.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"EN-US\">In the first part of the meeting, the Deputy Ombudswomen presented the 2024 Annual Report of the Ombudswoman, with a focus on the field of discrimination. This was followed by a discussion on the key challenges and recommendations from the Report, aimed at addressing existing problems and improving the effectiveness of anti-discrimination efforts in society.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"EN-US\">In the second part of the meeting, participants presented their action plans for the upcoming period. Representatives of the contact points also provided updates on their priority areas of work, current activities, and projects.
