The event was held on 8 December 2023 at the Dokukino of the Cultural and Information Centre in Zagreb, in cooperation with the Human Rights House Zagreb, and was intended for representatives of civil society organizations.<br \/>\nJudge of the Constitutional Court, Goran Selanec, explained the EU Charter\u2014what it is and how it can be applied in the protection of human rights\u2014to the participants and representatives of associations. In the second part of the workshop, Deputy Ombudswoman Tatjana Vla\u0161i\u0107 moderated a discussion focused on the key challenges in human rights protection in 2023 from the perspective of civil society.<br \/>\nThe training was organized within the framework of a regional project implemented by the Office of the Ombudswoman in cooperation with the EU Agency for Fundamental Rights (FRA), funded by the \u201cEEA and Norway Grants Fund for Regional Cooperation.\u201d<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>As part of this year&#8217;s Human Rights Film Festival, we organized a training session on the EU Charter of Fundamental Rights and a discussion on the challenges in the protection of human rights.
