On 20 March 2019, Advisor to the Ombudswoman Aron Pecnik visited third- and fourth-grade students at the \u201cGK Kraljica Jelena\u201d Secondary School in Split, where he introduced them to the work and role of the institution, the national and international frameworks for the protection of citizens\u2019 rights in Croatia, as well as current topics in the field of human rights.<br \/>\nThe students showed great interest in the presented topics, particularly the rights of asylum seekers and examples of discrimination based on the Office\u2019s casework.
